LWJ_PHD final performance.mp4 AllenMichael 2019 An online play written and directed specifically for an online audience.<div><br></div><div>This is the recording of a live streamed theatre production developed from fieldwork as part of a PhD.<div><br></div><div>This piece is a creative/imaginative anthropological analysis of the fieldwork experience with an ensemble of actors over a 12 month development process conducted throughout 2018.</div><div><br></div><div>It is a hybrid of theatre, film and online performances and audiences.</div></div><div><br></div><div>SYNOPSIS</div><div>A play about a group of friends who live stream a weekly show together. Suburban mum, JENNA (<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicole-allen-b67b33158/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Nikki Allen</a>), is re-inventing her life online by streaming a weekly show about good friends, good food and good conversation. Together with her co-hosts SAMANTHA DEEN (Jasmin McWatters) and LACHY (Max Kowalick) they have forged a unique bond and have each shared in the personal and financial benefits of redefining themselves using social media personalities. But they each discover that who they are is a complex web in a life lived online.<br></div>
