A cross-sectional survey of households with children under 5 years from eight villages. Adult respondents provided information on the foods consumed by each child and details of the household. Height and weight of each child were measured. Adults from 172 households and 208 children participated. In addition in-depth interviews were conducted to further explore associations. Both the survey and interviews were conducted before and 6 months after the completion of the 6 month nutrition-sensitive agricultural intervention.
