Our findings will enable the construction and building industries to make informed decisions when selecting concrete mix designs for any project. This will minimise the environmental impacts of concrete (the most consumed solid material in the world), helping Australia meet its 2030 Climate Change Target.

We hope that our paper influences Regulators in order to standardise concrete mixes to reduce the impact of the second (to water) most globally consumed material in the world.

The outcomes achieved from this study will influence the construction industry and the public sector when developing strategies and policies to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This will minimise the environmental impacts of concrete (the most consumed solid material in the world), helping Australia meet its 2030 Climate Change Target.
