South Australia Retirement Village Survey 2016

In South Australia there are currently 532 retirement villages providing 18,464 residences for approximately 25,850 older South Australians. In response to a scarcity of data on and about retirement village residents and facilities in the state, Office for the Ageing, in partnership with the University of Adelaide, undertook the South Australia Retirement Village Survey 2016. A total of 2,154 responses to the survey were collected from retirement village residents across the state. Some 240 retirement villages were represented in the response. This project includes the embargoed survey datasets, the final report, conference presentations and on-line fact sheets.
