This training presentation and video was created as part of the research project conducted by University of Adelaide Honours student, Asgiri Jayasekara. It provided participating food outlets with an overview of the project and demonstrated how to separate, measure and record pre-consumer food waste.
The project aimed to measure the amount of pre-consumer food waste produced by food outlets based at an Australian university campus and explore foodservice and menu practices which might contribute to food waste in this type of foodservice setting.
